Abstract

The purpose of this TFM is to prepare an educational proposal for the sixth grade that includes the design of a plantation and an oil mill as a curricular activity. The main objective is to offer students an experiential and meaningful educational experience where they can learn and explore the procedures involved in olive tillage and olive oil making. It seeks to promote principles such as environmental education, group work, interest in healthy eating and the progress of communication skills through this proposal. The methodology is based on an active and practical approach, which includes going to oil mills and plantations, talking to experts and doing field work. Finally, students will be able to use their new knowledge and understand the importance of agriculture in the world.
