Inteligencia emocional plena

Abstract

La educación del siglo XXI, emergida del paradigma positivista, reclama nuevas tendencias educativas donde se desarrollen las habilidades sociales y emocionales para convivir en armonía. Ahora ya no se enseñaría con papel y lápiz, sino que gracias a las nuevas posturas teóricas sobre inteligencia, el aprendizaje surgiría en un ambiente afectivo, donde la creatividad y la motivación son el elemento clave para su sentido. De esta manera, la educación ya no sería vista solo desde la razón, sino desde el corazón. Enseñar estos valores supone el desarrollo adecuado de nuestros alumnos, para que no solo lo apliquen en su trabajo, sino en su vida entera. Ser conscientes de las necesidades es el primer paso para responder a las exigencias del nuevo paradigma de la convivencia; desear y promover una enseñanza emocional y social, sería tan importante como cualquier otra educación. Así en este trabajo esbozo una revisión bibliográfica sobre la inteligencia emocional, los diferentes modelos que han sido aceptados, las formas para evaluarlo y el papel que esta tiene en el ámbito educativo. Además, elaboro una jornada de educación emocional basándome en la nueva tendencia que está revolucionando el mundo de la consciencia y la espiritualidad: el mindfulness.
