Abstract

Amando es un proyecto que se lleva a cabo en un centro ocupacional para personas con discapacidad psíquica y que tiene como objetivos educar, asistir e intervenir en educación sexual y diversidad funcional. Con él se persigue mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con diversidad funcional, sus familias y cuidadores. Mediante la educación afectivo-sexual como herramienta, se intentará renovar e incrementar el conocimiento de los usuarios y usuarias acerca de las diferentes dimensiones de la sexualidad y generar actitudes positivas y saludables hacia ella. Los propósitos de este proyecto son, entre otros, mejorar las relaciones interpersonales del colectivo y desarrollar en ellos habilidades sociales que permitan una relación satisfactoria; ampliar sus conocimientos básicos relacionados con la sexualidad, teniendo siempre en cuenta las necesidades, intereses y curiosidades personales del grupo; aumentar la autoestima de cada uno de los participantes, enseñarles a expresar emociones y a tomar decisiones responsables, etc.

Amando is a project that has no place in an occupational centre for people with intellectual disabilities with which it is intended to pave the way, educate, assist and intervene in sexual education and functional diversity. It aims to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, their families and carers. Using affective-sexual education as a tool will attempt to renew and increase the knowledge of the / ace users / as, about the different dimensions of sexuality and generate positive and healthy attitudes towards it. The objectives of this project are, among others, to improve the interpersonal relationships of the group and develop them / as social skills that enable successful relationship; expand their basic knowledge about sexuality, taking into account the needs, interests and curiosities of the group; increase the self-esteem of each / a of / participants learn to express emotions and make responsible decisions, etc.
