Abstract

Recently, distributed computing and decentralized information storage technologies have become a booming development field in the scientific community. In particular, the blockchain technology is an approximation within said computing paradigm. Among its properties, the blockchain stores all the information about all the operations of the system, all the information is stored in many computers of the participants (not only in the central server) and the information once stored is immutable. Therefore, the purpose of this master's thesis focuses on the technical study of blockchain technology and the development of a use case based on a distributed application with which to value the benefits of using blockchain technology
