Efectividad de la fisioterapia en el síndrome del dolor miofascial del hombro.

Abstract

[ES] Objetivo: Identificar, evaluar de forma crítica y reunir las principales evidencias disponibles en la actualidad sobre la efectividad de las diferentes técnicas de fisioterapia en el tratamiento del Síndrome del dolor miofascial del hombro. Método: Se realizó una búsqueda entre Agosto y Mayo de 2015, de ECAs en las bases de datos Pubmed, Scopus y PEDro. Se seleccionaron estudios publicados desde Febrero de 2010 hasta Marzo de 2015. Resultados: 8 de 462 artículos se analizaron atendiendo a los criterior de inclusión y exclusión. Éstos fueron clasificados en tres grupos según el tipo de intervención: Fisioterapia no invasiva, invasiva y electroterapia. Conclusiones: La técnica de la compresión isquémica, la técnica de liberación por presión, la punción seca, la acupuntura, las ondas de choque, el láser de baja intensidad y la estimulación eléctrica sobre la toxina botulínica de tipo A son efectivos sobre el Síndrome del dolor miofascial del hombro.

[EN] Aim: To identify, to assess critically and to gather the main scientific evidences in order to determine the effectiveness of physical therapy in the Shoulder´s myofascial pain syndromes. Method: It carried out a randomized clinical trial´s search in Pubmed, Scopus and Pedro databases. It selected studies published from February, 2010 to March, 2015. Results: 8 from 462 studies were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and classified into three groups attending to the type of physiotherapy´s procedure: non invasive, invasive and electrotherapy. Conclusions: The ischemic compression therapy, the comprehensive treatment, the dry needling, the acupuncture, the radial shock waves, the low level laser therapy and the electrical stimulation on botulinum toxin A therapy, are effective on Shoulder´s myofascial pain syndromes.
