Abstract

[ES] El programa de educación para la salud que hemos diseñado está enfocado a la intervención necesaria para proporcionar apoyo emocional a una población muy concreta: los/as cuidadores/as de personas familiares con demencia (PCFD). Nuestra principal finalidad es por tanto mejorar el afrontamiento de dicha población a la situación a la que se enfrenta, ya que cambia por completo su vida, lo que conlleva consecuencias, entre ellas, emocionales. Para poder realizar las intervenciones propuestas hemos desglosado algunos de los factores que influyen en las alteraciones emocionales que se producen como el desconocimiento de la enfermedad, de la manera en la que pueden disminuir la ansiedad, la poca disposición para la resolución de problemas, la pérdida de contacto con las diferentes personas que forman sus redes sociales y la disminución de la realización de actividades de ocio. Por ello proponemos diferentes actividades para intervenir con los/as cuidadores/as tanto a nivel individual (entrevista inicial de valoración, seguimiento telefónico…), a nivel grupal (charla-coloquio, técnicas de relajación, globoterapia…) e incluso a nivel familiar. Las intervenciones propuestas están basadas en el conocimiento disponible y tienden a proporcionar una asistencia de calidad a la población a la que va dirigida nuestro programa.

[EN] The programme of health education that we have designed is focused to the necessary intervention to provide emotional support to a very specific population: caregivers of relatives with dementia. Our main purpose is therefore improve the psychological adaptation of this population to the situation to which is faces, since changes by full your life, what entails consequences, among them, emotional. For to perform them interventions proposed have broken down some of them factors that influence in them alterations emotional that is produce as the ignorance of the disease, of the way in which can decrease it anxiety, it little available for the resolution of problems, their loss of contact with them different people that form their social networkings and their decrease of realization of activities of leisure. By this propose different activities to intervene with them caregivers both to individual activities (initial assessment interview, telephone tracking...), to group activities (talk, technical of relaxation, globoterapia...) and even to family activities. In this way, and through these interventions, we will try to achieve the goals, to benefit and provide quality assistance to the population that our program is directed.
