In this project a fluid medium, usually water is simulated llowing along a 130m vertical tube down into the soil and back up towards the surface. The thermal exchange with the soil is simulatcd and how the temperature of the fluid from inlet to outlet is changing. More specifically, the development of the temperalure depending on the inlet temperature. inlel velocity. time and surrollnding lcmperature is evaluated. The simulation is run in ANSYS Student Fluent. The project included. creating geometry and meshes. defining setling and running the simulation
