LA BRECHA SALARIAL EN ESPAÑA

Abstract

[EN] The purpose of this work is to examine the differences between the salary of men and women, that is, the existing salary gap in Spain from a gender perspective. To do this, we will use the latest Salary Structure Survey (EES) carried out in 2018 by the National Institute of Statistics. Therefore, first of all, we will analyze the adjusted gender wage gaps in Spain, that is, we will study the wage differences taking into account the socioeconomic and labor factors of the male and female workers. Later, we will expose what are the triggers of this wage gap. Finally, we will formulate solutions to put an end to this employment discrimination suffered by women. In addition to this theoretical part, this work will also develop the didactic programming corresponding to the FOL module of the Higher Degree Training Cycle in Promotion of Gender Equality for the academic year 20210/2021
