Abstract

En este trabajo se ha realizado un análisis de los riesgos de inundación en el área del río Eliche, a su paso por el pueblo de Los Villares, en la provincia de Jaén. Para ello, se han descrito los principales factores que influyen en la dinámica fluvial de la zona, como su geología o su régimen de precipitaciones en el conjunto de la cuenca de drenaje. También se ha analizado la evolución del río y su influencia en el medio a partir de los registros del pasado, principalmente mediante ortofotografías. Finalmente, se han realizado una serie de propuestas, las cuales se apoyan en todo lo aprendido acerca de la dinámica del río y los resultados obtenidos, con el objetivo de mejorar algunos aspectos importantes para reducir el impacto negativo de las inundaciones en el área de estudio.

In this work, an analysis of flood risks has been made in the Eliche river area, focussed on the sector of the town of Los Villares, in the province of Jaén. To this end, the main factors that influence the fluvial dynamics of the area have been described, including the geology and the rainfall regime at the scale of the drainage basin. The evolution of the river and its influence on the environment have also been analyzed, based on the records of the past, mainly from ortophotographs. To end, a series of proposals have been made, based on all learned about the dynamics of the river and the results obtained, with the aim of improving some important aspects to reduce the negative impact of floodings in the study area.
