Las fincas que albergan cabañas ganaderas, en muchos casos mixtas, necesitan de un trabajo previo de cálculo de la oferta forrajera anual, y así poder ajustar las cabezas de ganado para no tener excesivas pérdidas a lo largo del año. Existen múltiples métodos de evaluación de capacidad de carga, en este trabajo se propone utilizar un método derivado de la adaptación del inventario fitosociológico (Ascaso y Ferrer, 1993) de fácil uso y bastante aproximado a la realidad, ideal para la formación técnica en este apartado de evaluación de los recursos botánicos de un sistema agrosilvopastoral. En este trabajo se ha realizado una evaluación del valor pastoral (VP) de cinco fitocenosis presentes en el olivar giennense y estos valores de VP se contrastan con los valores de dos fitocenosis presentes en las dehesas de alto valor para la cabaña ganadera, especialmente ovina.
The farms that house livestock herds, in many cases mixed, need prior work to calculate the annual forage supply, and thus be able to adjust the head of livestock so as not to have excessive losses throughout the year. There are multiple methods of evaluation of carrying capacity, in this work it is proposed to use a method derived from the adaptation of the phytosociological inventory (Ascaso & Ferrer, 1993) that is easy to use and quite close to reality, ideal for technical training in this section for the evaluation of the botanical resources of an agrosilvopastoral system. In this work, an evaluation of the pastoral value (VP) of five phytocenosis present in the giennense olive grove has been carried out, and these VP values are contrasted with the values of two phytocenosis present in the high-value meadows, especially sheep.
