EL TURISMO CREATIVO EN EL MEDIO RURAL

Abstract

[EN]The tastes and needs of tourists have changed dramatically, causing suppliers of products and services have big difficulties to distinguish themselves. Tourists are as not satisfied as buying souvenirs as once before, but they seek to improve their skills by taking part in activities. In this context, the mobile workshops of creative tourism offer the possibility of adapting to the needs of the tourists and creating value in any environment. In this End of Master Degree Project I have analysed the evolution of the rural tourism in Spain, the supply and demand of rural tourism, the kind of creative tourism experiences, the key elements and the barriers to creativity. Finally, it has been proposed a business model of creative tourism in a rural area. Keywords: creative tourism, rural tourism, creativity, craft.
