[ES] El presente trabajo fin de grado trata como tema principal la evolución el transporte en España, tanto su importancia en la economía, como su progresión en los últimos años. Además, ahondaré en los diferentes modos de transporte en los que se divide el sector y en la influencia que tienen en los demás sectores de la economía. Concretamente, dentro de este ámbito, se profundizará en la importancia del transporte de mercancías por carretera, sector más influyente dentro de los modos de transporte, gracias al nivel de toneladas-kilómetros que soporta. Además, el sector terrestre, es el más notorio de los modos en relación al número de viajeros, ya que se trata de un sector flexible y de coste medio-bajo.

[EN] This final degree project deals with the evolution of transport in Spain, both its importance in the economy and its progression in recent years. In addition, I will delve into the different modes of transport in which the sector is divided and the influence they have on the other sectors of the economy. Specifically, within this scope, the importance of freight transport by road, the most influential sector within modes of transport, will be deepened, thanks to the level of tons-kilometers it supports. In addition, the land sector, is the most notorious of the modes in relation to the number of travelers, since it is a flexible sector and medium-low cost.
