Abstract

Esta gran figura de la arquitectura española del Renacimiento vino al mundo en tierras albaceteñas, por lo que es correcto denominarlo "manchego" por su origen y de modo más concreto como "Maestro de Alcaraz", en alusión a la ciudad que le vio nacer. Pero es justo hacerlo también "jiennense" por cuanto en el antiguo Reino de Jaén realizó la mayor parte de su obra y sobre todo la más sobresaliente, aquella por la que merece ser considerada esta gran figura.
