El discurso periodistico de La Verdad en a transición política: de la "semana negra" a las elecciones generales

Abstract

Este artículo pretende mostrar la contribución del diario La Verdad a la instauración de la democracia en la Región de Murcia entre enero y junio de 1977. A través de un análisis de contenido de 42 editoriales se constata el discurso de La Verdad en unos meses críticos para España por amenazas desestabilizadoras durante la «semana negra» y la legalización del Partido Comunista. En este periodo el periódico defendió la reforma política en curso, fue introduciendo los nuevos valores democráticos y auspició la formación de la UCD en Murcia.
