El fenómeno web 2.0 aplicado al sector hotelero

Abstract

Web 2.0 and social networks have allowed the opinions of anonymous users are increasingly important, especially for the hospitality industry. For hotels, it is increasingly important to have presence and visibility on the web, as well as to take care of their Online Reputation and interact with their users. On the one hand, this project aims the study of how the hotels can manage this contemporary phenomenon known as Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), as well as create a few tools to measure the Web 2.0, which are easy to use, measurable and able to be applied in a long term in the hospitality industry. The purpose of this study is that hotels know first hand which features need to be implemented to improve their reputation and characteristics. In addition, it can constitute an instrument very new for researchers who have interest and need information about both aspects, the web visibility and online reputation.
