Estimación de la adiposidad corporal mediante antropometría

Abstract

La presente Tesis Doctoral, titulada "Estimación de la adiposidad corporal mediante antropometría", adopta la modalidad de compendio de publicaciones, en conformidad con la normativa de la Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM). Este trabajo se centra en el análisis comparativo de métodos para la estimación de la adiposidad corporal, con especial énfasis en la antropometría, la bioimpedancia eléctrica (BIA) y la absorciometría de rayos X de energía dual (DXA). A través de la evaluación de la concordancia y la precisión de estos métodos, se busca aportar evidencia científica para su aplicación en el ámbito clínico y deportivo. El compendio de esta tesis está conformado por tres artículos científicos, cada uno de los cuales aborda diferentes aspectos de la evaluación de la adiposidad.
