Hacia una efectiva implementación del apetito de riesgo en una entidad financiera

Abstract

El presente trabajo se enfoca en el concepto de Apetito de Riesgo y su efectiva aplicación en la industria financiera. En relación a ello, se abordarán conceptos teóricos claves, estándares y sanas prácticas vigentes en la materia, grado de desarrollo actual, enfoques y metodologías para determinar e implementar el apetito de riesgo así como elementos claves a considerar para su supervisión. Asimismo, se introducirá y desarrollará una metodología para la implementación de un adecuado y eficaz Marco de apetito de riesgo (RAF) junto con la Declaración de apetito de riesgo (RAS), elementos organizacionales imprescindibles para poder alinear adecuadamente la estrategia de negocios y la estrategia de riesgos en una organización. Los distintos contenidos abordados constituirán un enfoque conceptual y una guía para poner en práctica el etéreo concepto de apetito de riesgo por parte de las entidades financieras, así como también para coadyuvar a la efectiva supervisión por parte de los reguladores y supervisores bancarios.
