Fiscal balance has been a determining factor in Argentina during the first months of the Government of Mauricio Macri. In this sense, the focus has been on the adjustment of public expenditures and the potential consequences it may have in terms of redistribution. In this paper, I study the redistributive impact of public spending on transport and health during 2016, through a gear of different alternative sources that allow to identify the beneficiaries of indirect and direct subsidies and estimate the monetary impact of these allocations in terms of the beneficiary’s earnings.
