El desafío de la agilidad en las organizaciones : ¿un nuevo mindset para la transformación de los negocios?

Abstract

El presente trabajo investiga la existencia de barreras organizacionales para el escalamiento de la agilidad en la gestión de grandes compañías que no son nativas digitales. Se ha propuesto investigar a partir de un marco teórico que involucra a pensadores y profesionales que han basado sus estudios en el diseño organizacional, la cultura corporativa y el comportamiento humano. A su vez, se ha complementado la investigación teórica con un trabajo de campo, que introduce la perspectiva práctica de profesionales que actualmente atraviesan el desafío de esta transformación cultural desde diferentes roles. Entre los principales hallazgos, pudo detectarse la existencia de factores estructurales de las compañías, a través del funcionamiento de un ¨sistema inmunitario organizacional¨ que opera como barrera. A su vez, la incidencia de la política organizacional y el perfil de liderazgo actual demuestran la predominancia de la influencia jerárquica y de la cultura de logro, por sobre la de sistemas colaborativos y horizontales. Este punto es analizado a lo largo del documento, a partir del entendimiento de características innatas y adquiridas del comportamiento humano.
