Conflicto armado y crecimiento económico en Colombia, un estudio por departamentos basado en un modelo centro - periferia para los años 2.000 A 2.017.

Abstract

El conflicto armado ha sido un problema presente en Colombia por al menos sesenta años, afectando a todo el territorio nacional y ha dejado devastadoras consecuencias como pérdidas humanas y materiales, desplazamientos forzados, disminución del turismo, entre muchas otras. Por lo descrito anteriormente, el propósito de la presente investigación es evidenciar si el conflicto armado también tiene incidencia en el crecimiento económico de ciertas regiones del país. Para esto se estudiaron doce departamentos divididos en dos grupos: los que presentan mayor crecimiento y los que presentan menor crecimiento económico, tomando variables tanto macroeconómicas como de violencia, en un periodo comprendido entre los años 2.000 y 2.017.
