Historia empresarial regional : casos Pietri S.A y Almacenes Americano

Abstract

El presente trabajo narra dos casos empresariales de la región con el objetivo de dar a conocer la historia de unos héroes empresariales, que pese a las escasas posibilidades que tuvieron para salir adelante, lograron construir grandes compañías. Don Hernán Escobar Carretero y su empresa de confecciones Pietri S.A y Don Hernán Jaramillo Londoño y sus Almacenes Americano, fueron los casos analizados, debido al papel que desempeñaron estas compañías en el desarrollo económico de la región. Ahora bien, para la elaboración de dichos casos, se utilizaron fuentes primarias de corte cualitativo, tales como las entrevistas. Posteriormente, mediante la construcción de estas historias y su debido análisis, se logró identificar las características predominantes del perfil de un héroe empresarial y la manera en como estas influyeron en el éxito de las empresas. De igual manera, aparte de narrar los casos empresariales, este trabajo expone los aspectos más relevantes del emprendimiento y las pocas herramientas que se necesitan para empezar un nuevo negocio.
