Abstract

Urban transport in Colombia is provided through private, legally constituted commercial companies that operate through different types of vehicles called: collective buses and mass transit, taxis, privately operated vehicles and subway. However, this structure is permeated by illegal organisms that may provide a similar service, but lack a secure infrastructure and are contrary to the rules stipulated by Colombian law.
