Abstract

El siguiente trabajo tiene por objetivo mostrar un estudio que tiene como fin concretar algunas ideas y teorías relacionadas con la economía del crimen. Esta rama de la economía estudia al criminal como un sujeto racional que tiene control sobre todos sus actos, dado esto, el individuo puede ponderar los beneficios y costos para así tomar la decisión de delinquir o no. En este trabajo se exponen de manera general algunas perspectivas relacionas con la criminalidad desde la economía y otras áreas de estudio, adicional a esto, la finalidad de este trabajo es analizar el crimen desde la racionalidad del individuo partiendo de la teoría de su mayor expositor Gary Becker y del paper “Efecto de la actividad económica sobre la violencia homicida: Nueva evidencia a partir de datos de panel en Colombia” desarrollado por el Economista y tutor de este proyecto Carlos Giovanni González Espitia y el Economista Juan Esteban Carranza Romero. This paper aims to show a study that aims to realize some ideas and theories related to the economics of crime. This branch of Economics studying the criminal as a rational person who has control over all his actions, given this, the individual can weigh the benefits and costs for thus decide to commit a crime or not. This work presents some perspectives in a general way you relate with crime from the economy and other areas of study, further to this, the purpose of this work is to analyze the crime from the rationality of the individual on the basis of the theory of its largest Exhibitor Gary Becker and the paper "effect of the economic activity on homicidal violence": New evidence from Colombia panel data" developed by the Economist and guardian of this project Carlos Giovanni González Espitia and Economist Juan Esteban Carranza Romero.
