Abstract

El presente módulo hace parte del libro “Contabilidad Administrativa: un enfoque gerencial de costos”, que tiene como objetivo ser una herramienta que permita a los empresarios, docentes, estudiantes y público en general, comprender y usar gerencialmente los diferentes métodos de valoración de costos, teniendo en cuenta las normas contables vigentes en Colombia. Este módulo contiene una introducción a los términos y propósitos de costos, en el cual se introducen los términos básicos que se utilizaran a lo largo del libro; el análisis de costos, volumen y utilidad, que explora una de las herramientas más importantes de planeación para los gerentes; el costeo basado en actividades, donde se desarrolla la correcta asignación de los costos como base para una planeación estratégica; y el costeo absorbente, variable y de rendimientos, examina principalmente tres maneras diferentes de costear los inventarios en compañías industriales y comerciales lo cual se ve reflejado en la utilidad operativa. This modu le is part of "Accounting Management: a management cost approach" which aims to be a tool that allows entrepreneurs, teachers, students and the general public, to understand and managerially use different cost evaluation methods , taking into account the ac counting principles in Colombia. This module provides an introduction to the terms and purposes of costs, in which the basic terms used throughout the book are introduced; cost analysis, volume and utility, which explores one of the most important planning tools for managers; activity - based costing, where the correct allocation of costs as a basis for strategic planning is developed; and absorbent, variable yield, costing mainly examines three different ways to pay for inventories in industrial and commerci al companies which is reflected in operating income
