Caracterisiticas Quimicas y Aspectos de Fertilidad en Suelos

Abstract

Dentro de la programación de estudios químicos de la sección de suelos C.V.C, se adelantaron las investigaciones en las Hoyas Hidrográficas de los ríos Cali, Lily, Meléndez, Pance y Cañaveralejo, como un complemento a la caracterización morfológica de los suelos a niveles generales y semidetallados. La importancia de las investigaciones químicas dentro de las Hoyas Hidrográficas cobra particular interés por los planee tanto oficiales como particulares en el campo de la reforestación comercial e industrial y en la educación de los colonos y propietarios en áreas de reserva forestal con los cuales es preciso convivir. El plan comenzó con los estudios químicos de las hoyas mencionadas, seleccionándose sitios representativos en cada una de ellas, de tal forma que éstos encajaran tanto en el perfil del suelo como en su piso térmico. La fase del fraccionamiento de elementos mayores y menores se realiz6 para Verificar el grado de aprovechamiento y reservas de los mismos.
