Abstract

Hoy por hoy, el deporte se ha convertido en una industria multimillonaria y compleja, con popularidad mundial, sólo comparable con la del cine o la moda, que mueve recursosmediante cifras astronómicas, a la vez que genera hereditarias pasiones. Toda esto es producto de la exposición mediática que ha obtenido el deporte en la actualidad, convirtiéndose en un desafío a la tradicional forma de operar de las organizaciones deportivas, llevándolas a buscar una profesionalización en marketing, que ofrezca una amplia gama de facilidades de entretenimiento, generando habilidades para desarrollar productos y servicios deportivos con capacidad de realizar diagnósticos de entorno competitivo en diferentes actividades, identificando oportunidades de negocios, con la capacidad de diseñar estrategias exitosas partiendo del reconocimiento de las características de la gran gama de clientes potenciales por doquier.
