Percepción del cuero mediante el olfato

Abstract

Este estudio pretende exponer la evaluación de las percepciones hacia la categoría de bolsos y maletines en cuero de los estudiantes de la Universidad Icesi, mediante el sentido del olfato. Para ello, se llevó a cabo un estudio cuantitativo que arrojó como resultado que los estudiantes identifican el cuero con solo percibir su aroma, tomando en consideración los siguientes aspectos: a) involucramiento, b) calidad, c) intención de compra, d) disposición a pagar y e) diferencia entre géneros. Adicionalmente, los datos analizados sugieren que el cuero cuenta con características peculiares que son reconocidas universalmente y lo diferencian de otros materiales como la tela.
