Abstract

A pesar que el área de Recursos Humanos es de gran importancia dentro de una organización, en muchas ocasiones no se tiene muy claro la influencia y el papel que desempeña ésta en la productividad de una empresa. De acuerdo con lo anterior, con el presente trabajo se pretende diferenciar de una manera más clara y concisa los factores tanto internos como externos que afectan la productividad de las empresas desde el punto de vista de Recursos Humanos, enfocado específicamente a empresas multinacionales norteamericanas y empresas multinacionales colombianas. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en la definición de un marco teórico más claro, sobre el cual la Tutora Aida Florencia Medina Lorza pueda establecer el modelo teórico propuesto en su tesis de doctorado: Incidencia de los factores contextuales en la arquitectura de los recursos humanos, en la Universidad de Valencia, España. Lo anterior se sintetiza en las actividades realizadas hacia dos ejes en los cuales convergieron nuestros esfuerzos: búsqueda, consecución y traducción de artículos para la construcción del mencionado marco teórico y la búsqueda de información financiera de algunas empresas multinacionales asignadas por la tutora para el soporte cuantitativo.
