Abstract

Las áreas protegidas, Ecoparques, humedales, corredores de ríos, etc. Tiene un número de participación anual de sus ciudadanos, el cual equivale el 1,9% del total de la población caleña, cifra obtenida por la cuenta registrada en visitas anuales del DAGMA sobre el total de la población caleña registrada por el DANE (DANE, 2005). Es debido a este bajo índice de participación que la mayoría de los caleños no conocen lo que sucede dentro de un ecoparque, desconoce además la información ecológica que estos ecoparques despliegan dentro de sus instalaciones, y por otro lado, no han vivido la experiencia de recorrer y hacer parte activa de estas zonas protegidas.
