Abstract

En Colombia el cáncer de seno ocupa el segundo lugar después del cáncer de cuello uterino en la población femenina. El objetivo principal de los métodos de detección precoz es una reducción en la mortalidad. A pesar de no existir programas de salud pública para detección temprana del cáncer de seno, cada vez están consultando pacientes con estados de la enfermedad más tempranos.
