Esta investigación fue realizada por un grupo de mujeres de la etnia tatuyo, de la zona del río Pirá-Paraná, cuya preocupación por la salud de su comunidad, las llevó a rescatar, profundizar y restaurar la forma tradicional sobre el cuidado que debe tener la mujer indígena desde su adolescencia hasta su papel como madre, a su vez complementarla con la medicina occidental, buscando el bienestar de mujeres y niños(a).
