RESUMEN: Durante los últimos años, debido principalmente a la crisis económica que estamos padeciendo, se ha profundizado el debate sobre la necesidad de la empresa pública y su dimensión, añadiendo a este debate los sectores sobre los que se debe de actuar y lo que ésta aporta al mercado, a la sociedad. Así mismo se considera que la empresa pública actúa en un estado social y democrático de derecho, como define nuestra Constitución, que entiende a la empresa pública como ejemplo del estado de fomento y de servicio público. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar algunas empresas públicas desde un punto de vista contable, lo que nos permitirá profundizar en el estudio de las diferentes empresas públicas elegidas, teniendo así un reflejo de su situación en un momento determinado. De esta manera tendremos la oportunidad de explicar cómo actúan las empresas públicas en el mercado, y los sectores en los que principalmente se desenvuelven, así este trabajo llevará por título: “Los Sistemas de Información Contable en las Empresas Públicas”.
ABSTRACT: Due to the economic crisis of recent years, the need for public companies and the size of these has been a subject of much discussion. The sectors in which there is a need for public companies and what these companies offer the market and society has also been under discussion. Public companies are understood to act in a social and democratic state of law as defined by our Constitution, which considers public companies, as examples of public, development and service. The aim of this study is to analyze accounting in public companies. This will allow us to study different public companies in greater depth, giving us an insight into their situation at any given moment.
