Barreras de acceso al sistema sanitario para el colectivo inmigrante

Abstract

Vivimos en un mundo intercultural. España desde hace años recibe personas inmigrantes y tanto el sistema sanitario como la enfermería tienen que hacer frente a estos nuevos conceptos. Existen numerosos artículos y estudios que nos hacen reflexionar sobre las dificultades que tienen que afrontar los colectivos inmigrantes y sobre las posibles soluciones que podemos poner en marcha. Este trabajo hace una revisión sobre la actitud del sistema sanitario ante esta nueva situación, mostrando cuáles son sus principales barreras, cuáles podrían ser sus soluciones y cuáles podrían ser los fundamentos básicos para una práctica enfermera sensible a estos procesos interculturales.
