El etiquetado social y su efecto sobre la competitividad empresarial: análisis del sello "Made in Green"

Abstract

RESUMEN. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar si la utilización de sellos o etiquetas con las que las empresas transmiten al mercado su estrategia social influyen positivamente sobre su competitividad. La contrastación empírica se ha realizado para el sello Made in green aplicando técnicas estadísticas bivariantes y multivariantes a un panel de datos de empresas pertenecientes al sector textil de la comunidad valenciana. El trabajo muestra la importancia que dan algunas de ellas a la estrategia social como parte de su estrategia competitiva y su eficacia a la hora de mantener su competitividad.

ABSTRACT. The aim of this research is to analyze if labels or seals used by companies to transmit to the market their social strategy influence positively on their competitiveness. The empirical contrast has been carried out for the Made in green seal applying both bivariate and multivariate statistical techniques to a data panel of companies of the textile industry from the Valencian region. The work show the importance that there give some companies to the social strategy as part of their competitive strategy and its effectiveness to preserve their competitiveness.
