Abstract

Recent research in the field of educational innovation and inclusion carried out internationally suggests that many studies have not evaluated the possible effects of methodologies that use immersive technological resources such as Augmented Reality on the learning and inclusion processes of students and in particular of those students with special educational needs. This study provides quantitative data that supports the hypothesis that the combination of an immersive educational technological resource based on Augmented Reality and an Adapted Digital Evaluation System has the capacity to generate a positive impact on factors such as the acceptance of this technology. These results contribute to the understanding of how certain educational innovation processes that incorporate immersive technological resources can favor both the inclusion of students and their understanding of certain key curricular concepts.
