RESUMEN Se presenta una propuesta de Proyecto de Animación Temprana a la Lectura para Educación Infantil. En primer lugar se realiza una presentación de las bases teóricas y científicas sobre el aprendizaje de la competencia lectora, en el que se destaca la importancia de la implicación de las familias en este proceso. A continuación, se propone la creación de un Plan de Animación Temprana a la lectura para EI, basado en la creación de una Biblioteca Ideal para el aula de EI, en la creación de un Club de Lectura y en el desarrollo de la actividad didáctica denominada El Libro Viajero. Se incluye en el apartado de Anexos una relación de las obras seleccionadas para la biblioteca ideal del aula de EI.
ABSTRACT I introduce a proposal about Early Reading Encouragement in Early Childhood Education. First, we present a theoretical and scientific basis for reading competence, in which we point out the importance of the involvement of families in this process. Then, I propose to make a plan to encourage reading in Early Childhood Education, based on the following three actions: setting up an Ideal Library for the Early Childhood Classroom; making a Reading Club; and a teaching activity called The Travelling Book. I have enclosed in the appendix a selection of books for the Ideal Library.
