Abstract

Currently, despite the unfamiliarity with the term, a significant portion of society finds itself immersed in labor precarity in one way or another. The current economy and new forms of production directly impact negatively on aspects such as working conditions, contractual modalities, and remuneration policies, thus affecting the quality of life of those who suffer from this phenomenon, making even meeting basic needs a challenge. Consequently, individuals are condemned to have a bleak outlook on both the near and distant future, living in constant uncertainly regarding the labor world. Within the Spanish regulatory framework, we find subcontracting or productive outsourcing, which is one of the main causes of precarization, since it is where most of the characteristic features that define what is a precarious job are manifested.
