Abstract

El trabajo se enfoca en explorar el potencial de la ciencia ficción, con énfasis en Crónicas Marcianas de Ray Bradbury, en la Educación Primaria. Utilizando una adaptación literaria, se busca hacer accesible la complejidad de la obra a los estudiantes de este nivel educativo. Se argumenta que la introducción de la ciencia ficción en el currículo escolar no solo amplía la experiencia literaria de los estudiantes, sino que también les brinda la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre temas contemporáneos y futuristas de manera estimulante. Se propone que la inclusión de la ciencia ficción en el aula puede fomentar la creatividad, el pensamiento crítico y la apreciación de la diversidad, preparando a los estudiantes para ser ciudadanos reflexivos en un mundo en constante cambio. Se aboga por la integración de la ciencia ficción en la Educación Primaria como una herramienta pedagógica valiosa para enriquecer el proceso de aprendizaje y promover el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes.

The work focuses on exploring the potential of science fiction, with an emphasis on Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, in primary education. Using a literary adaptation, the aim is to make the complexity of the work accessible to students at this educational level. It is argued that introducing science fiction into the school curriculum not only expands students' literary experience but also provides them with the opportunity to reflect on contemporary and futuristic themes in a stimulating manner. It is proposed that the inclusion of science fiction in the classroom can foster creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation of diversity, preparing students to be reflective citizens in a constantly changing world. Advocating, for the integration of science fiction in primary education as a valuable pedagogical tool to enrich the learning process and promote the holistic development of students.
