Análisis económico y financiero del sector automotriz

Abstract

The aim of this final thesis is to carry out an economic and financial analysis of the automotive sector over several years, as well as to evaluate the current situation of this sector at European, national and provincial level. Despite the existence of numerous competitors in this industry at a global level, a growth in activity has been observed, which is a positive sign for the Spanish economy. To carry out the analysis, the automotive sector has been selected from the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE) page, corresponding to code 4520. From the SABI database, a sample of two Spanish companies has been extracted; one at national and one at provincial level. Using data from the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet of each company for the years 2019 to 2021, a short and long term analysis has been carried out, as well as an analysis of results and profitability. One of the most important conclusions of the analysis is that the sector is in constant evolution. However, the aforementioned companies with a low immediate liquidity ratio or low financial autonomy, as well as negative net profits, will have to make changes in their management policy and take measures in relation to financing
