Durante el proceso de desarrollo embrionario, la formación del esqueleto en los vertebrados se acompaña de procesos de remodelación celular como la muerte y senescencia celular. Gracias a los estudios de genética y embriología clásica se han identificado una serie de redes de señalización complejas que influyen en la formación del esqueleto. En esta Tesis Doctoral, con el fin de establecer un modelo de muerte celular morfogenética in vitro, hemos tratado de caracterizar el patrón de degeneración, incluyendo la presencia de senescencia celular, en el modelo de cultivo en alta densidad de micromasas, así como su regulación por las vías de señalización activas en el autopodio.
During the process of embryonic development, the formation of the skeleton in vertebrates is accompanied by celular remodeling processes such as cell death and senescence. Studies of genetics and classical embryology have identified a number of complex signalling networks that influence the formation of the skeleton. In this PhD thesis, in order to establish a morphogenetic cell death model in vitro, we have tried to characterize the pattern of degeneration, including the presence of cell senescence, in the culture model in high density micromasses, as well as its regulation by the active signalling pathways in autopodium.
