Abstract

RESUMEN: En este Trabajo Fin de Grado “Instalación de una planta de tratamiento de agua de lastre en un buque de carga a granel”, se realizará el estudio de la instalación de los equipos necesarios que han de instalarse a bordo en un buque de carga a granel de 159,2 metros de eslora total (LOA). A bordo del cual se instalará como planta de tratamiento de agua de lastre, una de tecnología química mediante electro-cloración. Se hablará del Convenio BWM y de sus diferentes partes que lo componen, y la finalidad de su creación, explicando el problema de las especies invasoras del agua de lastre. Se explicará cada elemento que se va a instalar, así como modelo y características. Se indicará el lugar donde se va a instalar cada elemento en el buque. Por otra parte, se explicarán los diferentes modos de lastrado y deslastrado, así como los diferentes ajustes de las válvulas y pasos a seguir para poder operar correctamente el sistema de tratamiento. Además de los parámetros que se controlan en cada una de las etapas del proceso.

ABSTRACT: In this Final Degree Project "Installation of a ballast water treatment plant on a bulk cargo ship", the study of the installation of the necessary equipment that must be installed on board a bulk cargo ship will be carried out of 159.2 meters in length overall (LOA). Using as main water treatment a chemical method by electro-chlorination. The BWM Convention and its different component parts will be discussed, as well as the reason for its creation, explaining the problem of invasive species in ballast water. Each element to be installed will be explained, as well as the model and characteristics. In addition to the place where each element will be installed on the ship. 11 On the other hand, the different ways of ballasting and unballasting will be explained, as well as the different adjustments of the valves and steps to follow in order to correctly operate the treatment system. In addition to the parameters that are controlled in each of the stages of the process.
