Abstract

ABSTRACT. The scaut brightness of certain diagnosis about some of the present industrial location tendencies ("de-urbanization" of the metropolitan industry and the rise of rural and "endogenous" industrialization) recommend to extend the historical perspective of the analysis, at the time as to insert them into the more general country-town dichotomy. The consideration fot the matter industrial organization in the twenties and of Ford's writings makes possible its more adequate balance.
