ABSTRACT: 3D printing is becoming an increasingly popular technology for applications that require designs of complex shapes and unique elements or with a very small number of pieces. Its most common use today in the field of construction is the manufacture of single dwellings, although its application in civil works is still very limited. This article presents a specific case study for the construction of artificial reefs and shows current challenges that concrete 3D printing technology faces.
