Hemorragia cerebral en mujeres con preclampsia

Abstract

ABSTRACT : Childbirth is the leading cause of hospitalization among women in our country, with postpartum hemorrhage being one of the most frequent complications. In addition, because women are becoming mothers at a later age, the risk of complications may increase associated with the risk of developing preeclampsia. This disease can present, among other complications, intracranial hemorrhage during pregnancy, with a prevalence of 4.3 to 8 cases per 100,000 pregnant women, with a fatal outcome ranging between 18-38%. Objectives: 1. To describe the condition of cerebral hemorrhage in women with preeclampsia 2. Identify the causes and risk factors associated with brain hemorrhage 3. Describe the different hypertensive states of pregnancy 4. Describe recommendations regarding the prevention of cerebral hemorrhage in women with preeclampsia. In order to meet these objectives, a literature review was conducted and a standardized care plan for a pregnant woman with preeclampsia was established, following the steps of the scientific method and relying on the NANDA I taxonomy, as well as the NOC and NIC to delimit outcome criteria and nursing interventions, respectively. Specialized training and interdisciplinary work by the entire clinical staff is necessary for the correct management of the disease and thus prevent the onset of complications.
