ABSTRACT: In this project are studied, in first place, rigidity matroids, starting with general ideas and then concreting in classical and cofactor rigidity. We prove the equivalence between these two matroids in a concrete case and the maximality of cofactor rigidity matroid in dimension three, and compute the coefficients of the self stress in Kd+2. Then we study multitriangulations, aiming to prove results about their rigidity and the possible existence of the multiassociahedron. We present some general results, and other results for k = 2 and small n.
