Abstract

ABSTRACT: The main purpose of the Project is the study of the propagation of the electromagnetic radiation on sediment environments, that is, celular tissues, particularly in fotobiorreactors. First of all , It is necessary to start the research of numerous articles and studies trying to obtain the information that will introduce us in the topic. In addition, It is necessary the start-up with the simulation environment that I am going to use which is compound by this components: -MATLAB; -Simulink; -ISO2mesh. After all of it I have developed a simulation in Matlab, which is a programming environment, that consist in the development of a Surface with specific optical properties, in this case, I am going to use a cylinder to simulate a tube with 2 mediums, the inside one would be a suspensión of cyanobacterias and the external one would be a glass tube. There will be a light beam pointing at the cylinder, which is going to give us a lot of information about the propagation of the radiation through the surface. Finally, it is going to be studied de distribution of the radiation in the different layers of the Surface to be able to obtain the optical transmission.
