Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo principal de este Proyecto de Fin de Grado consiste en el desarrollo de la documentación necesaria para la ampliación del Alcance de la Acreditación ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación) del LADICIM (Laboratorio de la División de Ciencia e Ingeniería de los Materiales de la Universidad de Cantabria) para la realización de ensayos sobre traviesas según norma AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of-way Association). LADICIM ya se encuentra acreditado por ENAC, entre otros productos, para ensayos sobre traviesas de acuerdo a normativa nacional (UNE), europea (EN) y Especificaciones Técnicas de ADIF. Inicialmente, en este proyecto se analiza en qué consiste, para qué se utiliza y cómo se realiza la acreditación a nivel internacional de un laboratorio. Posteriormente se estudia y compara la metodología de ensayo de acuerdo con la normativa AREMA con la metodología bajo la normativa europea EN. Por último, se desarrollan los Procedimientos específicos de Ensayo para la realización de los ensayos sobre traviesa de acuerdo a la norma AREMA, incluyendo la elaboración de las hojas de toma de datos durante los ensayos. La normativa AREMA establece la realización de dos secuencias de ensayo. La secuencia 1 incluye un procedimiento de flexión en ambos asientos del carril y en la sección central en momento positivo y negativo; ensayo de fatiga y de carga última bajo el carril. La secuencia 2 incluye el ensayo de fuerza de apriete del sistema de sujeción, así como el estudio de la impedancia y resistencia eléctrica.

ABSTRACT: The main objetive about this Final Degree Project focus on the development and obtention of the needed documents to expand the Accreditation with ENAC for LADICIM, so the Laboratories would be able to perform the tests in the sleepers according to AREMA standards. LADICM is already accredited by ENAC for the performance of another sleeper testings according to other standards, such as UNE (Spanish Standard), EN (European Standard) and ADIF. Firstly, this Project will explain how the accreditation is, what it is for and how is the process to get the accreditation needed. Secondly, an exhaustive and detailed study and comparision will be done between the standards followed by AREMA versus EN. Lastly, it will explain the Specific Procedures of Testing to perform the tests with AREMA standards, including the development of the data files during the tests. AREMA includes two secuencies to the testing. First secuency includes a bending test in both seats and in the central section for both positive and negative moment, a cycle fatigue test and a last load test under the seat. Second secuency will focus on the pretensión force for the fasteners, impedance test and electric resistance.
