ABSTRACT: Analysis of the current situation of the Spanish tourism of pets, after seeing the profile of tourists who travell with their pets we see the options and alternatives of transport, accommodation and activities in destination furthermore studying the relationship they have with sun and beach tourism leader in our country and with rural tourism, ending with ideas and observations about the reality of people who travel with their pets. Specifying the situation in the region of Cantabria and its options as a pet friendly destination in the future.

RESUMEN: En este TFG se analizará la situación actual en nuestro país del turismo con mascotas, tras haber estudiado el tipo de perfil de turista con mascotas, la oferta hotelera, alternativas de transporte, actividades en el destino y la relación del turismo de mascotas con otra tipología de turismo, todo ello lo analiza más concreto en la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria y sus opciones como destino pet friendly.
