RESUMEN: El propósito de dicho trabajo es comprender cual es la utilidad y el funcionamiento de los Bancos Regionales del Desarrollo (BsRsD). Realmente, ¿tienen poder de incidencia en la economía de un país? ¿Son capaces de cambiar la senda de crecimiento y mejorar el bienestar de las personas? Bien, en dicho trabajo trataré de dar respuesta a dichas preguntas. Tras definir el objeto de estudio y las funciones que realizan, haré un repaso histórico donde expondré las causas fundamentales de la fundación de estas instituciones. En el TFG desarrollaré la idea de cuáles son las características que comparten los países en desarrollo y a través del modelo neoclásico pondré elementos en común para analizar la situación tratando de simplificarla. Y responder a la pregunta de si hay factores determinantes para el incentivo al crecimiento de un país. Además, analizaré los Grupos de Bancos Regionales del Desarrollo más importantes del globo desde su composición, las zonas geográficas donde desempeñan sus funciones y los programas implementados sobre los sectores para tratar de dar más dinamismo a sus economías. ABSTRACT: The purpose of this work is to understand what is the usefulness and operation of the Regional Development Banks (BsRsD). Do they really have the power to influence the economy of a country? Are they capable of changing the path of growth and improving people's well-being? Well, in this work I will try to answer these questions. After defining the object of study and the functions they perform, I will do a historical review where I will expose the fundamental causes of the founding of these institutions. In the project I will develop the idea of what are the characteristics that developing countries share and through the neoclassical model I will put elements in common to analyse the situation trying to simplify it. And answer the question of whether there are determining factors for the growth incentive of a country. In addition, I will analyse the most important Regional Development Bank Groups in the world from their composition, the geographical areas where they perform their functions and the programs implemented on the sectors to try to give more dynamism to their economies.
