Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo se va a llevar a cabo un análisis económico-financiero del sector del transporte desde el año 2013 al 2018, y dentro de este grupo nos centraremos en el transporte de mercancías por carretera. En primer lugar, haremos un análisis general de la situación del sector a nivel nacional (España) para posteriormente realizar un análisis del sector dentro del ámbito regional (Cantabria). Posteriormente analizaremos al grupo mercantil Hermanos Laredo, dicho análisis lo utilizaremos para realizar una comparativa con sus homólogas en el ámbito nacional y regional. Para realizar el análisis económico-financiero investigaremos los análisis de liquidez y solvencia, el análisis de la autonomía financiera y endeudamiento, así como el análisis de la rentabilidad. De acuerdo al análisis se concluyó que las empresas del grupo están asumiendo gran riesgo con la política de endeudamiento sobre todo en estos tiempos que se hace cada vez más difícil de proyectar los cambios en los mercados.

ABSTRACT: In this work, an economic-financial analysis of the transport sector from 2013 to 2018 will be carried out, and within this group we will focus on road freight transport. To start with, we will carry out a general analysis of the situation in the sector at the national level (Spain) so to subsequently carry through an analysis of the sector within the regional scope. Afterwards, we will analyse the Hermanos Laredo commercial group, such analysis will be used to conduct a comparison with its counterparts at the national and regional scope (Cantabria). In order to accomplish the economic-financial analysis, we will investigate the liquidity and solvency analyses, the analysis of financial autonomy and indebtedness, along with the profitability analysis. According to the analysis, it was concluded that the group companies are assuming a great risk with the indebtedness policy, especially in these times that it is becoming increasingly difficult to project changes in the markets.
